ARC. TOKUNBO FOWODE
Olatokunbo Ayodele was born on 2nd February, 1959 to the Fowode family of Isoyin in Ijebu North-East Local Government of Ogun State. The young Tokunbo attended Ijebu-Ode Grammar School between 1971 and 1975 and finished in the Division I grade at the WASC examinations. He proceeded to the Federal Government College, Warri in September 1975 and passed the Advanced G.C.E (three principal papers) in June 1977. The quest for further education further took Ayodele to the University of Lagos between 1977 and 1983 from where he obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and Environmental Design (Architecture) respectively.
A registered Architect, Fowode’s working experienced is vast. As a corp member, he worked with Pan-Afrique Architects and planners, Yaba, Lagos between 1981 and 1982. Olatokunbo Ayodele Fowode began his lecturing career as lecturer III in the Department of Architecture, Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta in 1985.
Arc. Fowode has served the Polytechnic in various capacities since he joined its service. He was the Head, Department of Architecture, Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta from 1987 to 1998; director, School of Engineering & Environmental Studies between 1993 and 1998; Director, Consultancy Services, MAPOLY from 1998 to 2003. He was also the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic in February, 1998. Between May 2003 and 2006, Fowode became a substantive Deputy Rector.
Obviously out of satisfactory performance, he was chosen among other people who were short-listed and interviewed for the exalted position of the Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta in May 2006, the position he occupies till date.
A chartered Architect by profession and sits on the council of the Nigerian Institute Of Architects (NIA) and was Chairman NIA (Ogun State Chapter) between 2003 to 2008. He is also a member of the Construction Industries Arbitrators. He has designed and supervised numerous projects for private individuals, corporate bodies, local government and state governments.

He belongs to the Egbe Bobakeye Akile of Ijebuland, Abeokuta Sports Club and UNILAG Alumni.
Architect Olatokunbo Ayodele Fowode is married with children.
