Full Time Programmes

A. School of Business & Management Studies
1. Higher National Diploma in:
i. Accountancy
ii. Marketing
iii. Business Administration
iv. Secretarial Administration
General Requirement: Pass at not below Lower Credit level from accredited Institution plus evidence of one-year post-ND industrial experience in exceptional cases, ND Holders with pass and evidence of two years industrial experience may be considered for Admission. In addition, ND holders must possess five(5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings in NECO/SSCE/WASC/GCE. Secretarial Administration accepts four credit-passes at one sitting or five credits at two sittings.
Compulsory Requirement: Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics for Accountancy, Marketing and Business Administration. Secretarial Administration accepts a pass in Mathematics.
Additional Requirement: Additional three(3) Credits from:
i.) Economics
ii.) Business Method
iii.) Principles of Account
iv.) Commerce
v.) History
vi.) Statistics
vii.) Geography
viii.) Government

B. School of Communication & General Studies
1. Higher National Diploma in:
i. Mass Communication
General Requirement: Pass at not below Lower Credit level from accredited Institution plus evidence of one-year post-ND industrial experience. In exceptional cases, ND Holders with pass and evidence of two years industrial experience may be considered for Admission. In addition, ND holders must possess five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings in NECO/SSCE/WASC/GCE
Compulsory Requirement: Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics (Literature in English or Oral English is not acceptable as substitute for English Language).
Additional Requirement: 3 Credit in:
i.) History
ii.) Economics
iii.) An Art Subject
iv.) Government
v.) Literature in English
vi.) A Nigerian Language
vii.) Religious Knowledge

C.
School of Environmental Studies
1. Higher National Diploma in:
i. Architecture
General Requirement: Pass at not below Lower Credit level from accredited Institution plus evidence of one-year post-ND industrial experience. In exceptional cases, ND Holders with pass and evidence of two years industrial experience may be considered for Admission. In addition, ND holders must possess four subjects obtained at not more than two sittings in NECO, SSCE, GCE, WASCE.
Compulsory Requirement: Credit passes in Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry and at least a pass in English Language.
Additional Requirement: Any additional 2 Credit from:
i.) Biology/Agric Science
ii.) Geography
iii.) Economics
iv.) Religious Knowledge
v.) Technical Drawing

Higher National Diploma in:
ii. Town & Regional Planning
General Requirement: Pass at not below Lower Credit level from accredited Institution plus evidence of one-year post-ND industrial experience. In exceptional cases, ND Holders with pass and evidence of two years industrial experience may be considered for Admission. In addition, ND holders must possess four subjects obtained at not more than two sittings in NECO, SSCE, GCE, WASCE.
Compulsory Requirement: Credit passes in Mathematics, a Science Subject and at least a pass in English Language.
Additional Requirement: Two additional credits from:
i.) Economics
ii.) Geography
iii.) Art/Technical Drawing
iv.) Statistics
v.) Chemistry Industrial
vi.) Physics
vii.) Biology/Agricultural Science
viii.) History/Government

D. School of Pure and Applied Sciences
1. Higher National Diploma in:
i. Microbiology
ii. Chemistry
iii. Physics with Electronics
General Requirement: Pass at not below Lower Credit level from accredited Institution plus evidence of one-year post-ND industrial experience in exceptional cases, ND Holders with pass and evidence of two (2) years industrial experience may be considered for Admission. In addition, ND holders must possess credit passes in four(4) subjects at one sitting or five (5) subjects at two sittings in NECO/SSCE/WASC/GCE.
Compulsory Requirement: Credit in Mathematics and a pass in English Language.
Additional Requirement: Three or four additional credits from:
i.) Physics
ii.) Biology/Agric Science
iii.) Chemistry
iv.) Economics or Geography

2. Pre-ND Programmes
a) Pre-ND School of Pure & Applied Science
Candidate would be admitted to any of the underlisted Programmes based on academic performance at the completion of Pre-ND programme:
i. Food Science & Technology
ii. Science Laboratory Technology
iii. Statistics
Entry Requirements: Two credits and three passes (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science) from Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science, Economics, Geography, Statistics, Technical Drawing and Electronics computer.

b) Pre-ND School of Engineering
Candidate would be admitted to any of the underlisted Programmes based on academic performance at the completion of Pre-ND programme:
i. Civil Engineering
ii. Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Entry Requirements: A credit pass in Mathematics/Physics. One credit and three passes (one of which must be Chemistry) from Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Agric. Science, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Basic Electrical/Electronics, Woodwork, Metal Works, Auto Mechanics and Fine Arts.

c) Pre-ND School of Environmental Studies
Candidate would be admitted to any of the underlisted Programmes based on academic performance at the completion of Pre-ND programme:
i. Architecture
ii. Quantity Surveying
iii. Estate Management
iv. Building Technology
v. Town & Regional Planning
Entry Requirements: Two credit passes in GCE O’ Level, WASC, SSCE, NABTED, NECO or equivalent from at least two of the underlisted subject groups and three other passes:
i.) Mathematics
ii.) Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science,
iii.) Geography, Economics, English Language, Accounts, Statistics, Computer Studies.
